Things to do while in Vegas
While you’re in Las Vegas, it’s worth exploring what the city has to offer beyond the casino floor. There’s something for every palate and price range in Las Vegas, whether you’re looking for a hot pastrami sandwich or an alcoholic milkshake, tapas and cocktails while networking or an on-the-go wrap when you’re trying to get to that last CE course on time!
In town for an extra day and looking to escape the city? There are some great day hikes in any of the gorgeous state parks a short drive outside Las Vegas. Try the Fire Wave Trail in the Valley of Fire State Park, or the Petroglyph Canyon trail in Sloan Canyon.
If you want to stay in the city but escape the Strip, start at the very north end of the strip at the Neon Museum, a time-traveling exhibit of Las Vegas signage. Then head over to Springs Preserve to explore a little bit of hothouse nature in the desert. There’s also Exotics Racing for the speed fiends . . .
