About Our Practice
Sowash Optometry Group is a family-owned practice serving the community of Greeley. We take immense pride in the warm, welcoming environment we create for all our patients. As a full-service practice, we provide services such as complete eye exams, contact lenses, glasses, glaucoma testing, and pre- and post-operative care to patients of all ages. We are committed to providing an excellent shopping experience, and our full surfacing lab allows glasses to be ready for patients within an hour.
Our team of professionals consists of an optometrist, two technicians, and six supporting front desk staff who handle all administrative duties. Our supporting team members allow our optometrists to focus on delivering patient care. On average, we see about 12-20 patients per day.

Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities
We are searching for a talented OD to join our growing practice! You'll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal OD candidate is entrepreneurial, treats each patient in a caring and friendly manner, a team player, and solutions-oriented.
This is a part-time opportunity (2 days per week)!
Your regular duties will include:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
- Maintain detailed patient records using Crystal PM EMR
Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
- Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
