Our office is a small town private practice that prides itself in personal and professional eye care for our great Belle Plaine Community. Practicing close to the southern metro but still in out-state Minnesota allows our doctors to be the area "eye care expert" and our patients see us that way. We feel we are there to serve our community not only as eye care professionals but also as people and we treat our patients and employees accordingly.
We pride ourselves on flexibility and the ability to allow our staff doctor to truly run the clinic as their own. To help do this we have most diagnostic testing needed at a large clinic in our small town setting. This includes iVue OCT, Octopus VF, Fundus Camera, Corneal Topographer, and two full exam rooms. Our low pressure flexible environment will be a great fit for someone who wants to practice full scope optometry in a small town setting.
Our office is a family. It sounds cliche but it is truly that way. We are the ones dancing the longest at your wedding and the people who help you during tough times. Our office manager is amazing and has been with the clinic since before it opened.
Dr. Zac Holland grew up in Des Moines Iowa and attended Dowling Catholic High School and Augustana College in Rock Island Illinois. Dr. Holland received his doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in May of 2015. While training in all aspects of eye care, Dr. Holland especially enjoys and sought further expertise in ocular disease and specialty contact lens fittings.
Dr. Zachary Holland was awarded with a Fellowship of the Scleral Lens Education Society (FSLS) in May 2018. He joins a prestigious group of 137 world wide specialty contact lens fitters and becomes one of 4 in the state of Minnesota. This fellowship is granted to a practitioner that demonstrates expertise in custom contact lenses, specifically scleral lens fittings, during their career with difficult to fit eyes. If you have had difficulty with contact lenses in the past or just aren't seeing as well as you think you should, please schedule an exam with Dr Zachary Holland and he can review your options.
